It has been crazy...

Life as a nanny with two older kids with autism is hard all in itself. But take into consideration this, I am married have been for three years been with this guy since high school, we are going through a rough patch if that is what you want to call it. I have my best friend, who is a guy living with us and has been for almost two years, he is my rock at this point, like a big brother, then his brother who just got out of jail is back in every one's life. J is my friend and I am trying like hell to keep him outta trouble. NG is my husband, and A is my best friend.
So even though I have so much to update about the kids this post is about me. Yesterday J, me and J's gf went to my dad's house to get some punching bags he had promised me forever ago, Dad used to teach karate and I used to take class. We wanted the punching bags to goof and use to get into shape. Yesterday was the best day I have had in a LONG time. Being on Dad's land brought back so many great memories. It was a pretty day and I bet I walked from the barn to the house 150 times. We goofed off, got attacked by wasps, and didn't find the tops to the punching bags, but that really didn't matter because we had FUN!!
We decided that nobody wanted to get back to real life so we went to Hobby Lobby and Halloween express and ate. We played punch bugs and laughed a lot. Not only did I get a break from my life and husband drama. I got to be with someone I care about like a brother and talked with him and his gf all day. It was a great day.

Hello World!!

Hi!! I have been addicted to special needs blogs for quite some time now. I have no children of my own, but am a nanny to three. 2 of which are autistic, so after my awful, no good, very bad, terrible week, this blog has come to be. Since they are not mine I will not be posting their names, but will use code names. The oldest will be Wolverine, since he loves comics and the X-men series.

His favorite is Dead-pool, but I am thinking typing that over and over would not be good. He is a teen with high functioning autism. The middle one will be, Bumblebee, not the bug, but the transformer. He likes transformers, but that isn't his favorite show. I chose this for him because like Bumblebee words are hard to find for him, he can get them out, but it takes a mi
nute, and we all know Bumblebee's radio talking issues.

He is also on the spectrum. Now their sister, Smurfette, the only code name appropriate for her. She is a typical 3rd grader, and by that I mean girly clicks and everything. She is often left out due to her brothers' autism, or is left waiting at the doctor's offices, therapy, or just left to her own devices while we deal with Wolverine.
